Like THESE guys need any introduction, or any help from us (more like the opposite), but I got tickets to see them on Friday and can't wait. Misson of Burma is one of those bands who influenced just about every Noise Pop band since 1983 (when they broke up), then MOB decides to get back together a few years ago, and record two frickin' killer albums in a row, like they never broke up in the first place.
2wice is the first track off their latest, The Obiliterati.
Great post-rock-punk-art-rock-whatever. Oh, and drummer, Peter Prescott's band post-MOB, Volcano Suns, had a HUGE influence on me during the Cara de Nada days. There. It's all about me, isnt' it? Anyhoo, the world needs more bands like Mission of Burma.
