Listening to these songs brings back vivid memories from 2001. Mostly of 9/11. I can't help but draw similarities between what I was feeling on 9/11 and what I am feeling today about the miserable aftermath of Katrina. Kinda spooky.
Back to 9/11, one of the amazing things about that day, was getting an email from Chris through his BlackBerry telling us Tim, Jen and himself were ok. I don't think I've ever felt such relief.
